I have a client on MAS 200 v4.5.6 using Job Ops looking for a multi-bin solution. Stacy indicate that ICS has a warehouse solution that works ""One of their clients is using it"". ONE client really gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling!!!!! Does anyone have any thoughts on this solution? http://innovativeconsultingservices.net/pdf/Brochure_WMS.pdf

Well now that's interesting - I asked Ryan Rick last week ""Which multibin solutions work with JobOps?"" and he said ""Currently none"". He also said they are talking to Ron Chompf about working with his multibin once JobOps version 2013 has shipped. Nothing definite yet.

Phil's got it Jeff, I know they are ""discussing"" a connection between ACS' MB and JO. Partially because of the relationship between JDBG Solutions (JOScan) and ACS. While I still have my doubts about anything evolving from those talks...hope springs eternal.

Client is desperate fora solution to the point they are grasping at straws. Need to tread lightly on this one.

Maybe it makes sense to talk directly with Chompf? See how realistic the possibility is.

Not sure how beneficial this would really be but you are right @JerryNorman. At least give him a chance to elaborate on the rumors.

I predict there is no way Synergistic will work with ACSG. Ron has been asking them for years and Chuck will not do it, because they don't see it as a priority for them. The WMS solution from ICS is at one of our clients. It exists outside any code of JobOps. In order to fully implement the integration, there will be a minor modification required from Synergistic, which they have indicated they would be willing to do. The choice at this point is up to the client. Since they are also using multiple warehouses for raw materials, WIP and finished goods, it has not been a big priority yet. We have another prospect we are reviewing the same configurations - Sage 100, JobOps and the ICS WMS and they have multi-bin requirements, so this modification will be done if they decide to move ahead. It should be decided by the end of the month.
