I have a client I migrated to 2014. They had not previously used SMI Sage Intelligence. I clicked on report manager. I am prompted for the Repository Path. I type it in the UNC and click OK. It blanks out. I do not get a message. I copy the path to Windows Explorer and I am able to navigate just fine. The UNC is pointing back to the same server. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

This is a standard (not advanced) install.

Does the path currently exist? Do you have permissions to it?

Can you enter it at the server and have it accepted? Is this machine specific?

I am at the server. The server is acting as a terminal server as well.

Not sure it matters, but did you register/license the product? Confirm the permissions and sharing?

Is it a Share on the server? I believe it needs to be shared

The folder is shared on the server. I have not registered/licensed as I believe you have to assign the repository path first.

By chance (and don't take this the wrong way) but are you for sure on the tab for the repository path and not the tab for the Sage Database path? I have misread the screen and tried to put in the wrong one.

Will not take it the wrong way. I am sure. :)

I had the same issue and kept trying different workstations and setting up different drive letters with shared folders. It would always blank out and Sage was not helpful. Finally logged into the main server as the administrator, browsed using the UNC path and it saved the path. I was then able to set the path from a workstation also. Not sure that is the ultimate answer because it was very frustrating and nothing seemed to work.

This is an Azure hosted server. I will have to see if I can get someone to log me in as such and let you know.

And it was something in the user... Once I got them to log me in as domain administrator instead of my user ""that is EXACTLY the same"" (which it is obviously not) I was good to go. This is why I always strongly request the main admin user for this stuff. 2 hours later...
