I have a client has been upgraded to Sage 2017 onto a new server. Their old server has a FOB (MCL S/N KEY P/N HWSNK-1102U- Picture Attached) and it seems that if that FOB is removed from the old server they are unable to process Sage Payments. credit card invoices within a batch. But if the FOB is intact and the workstation is rebooted the credit cards are processed within the batch. Their IT group believe this was installed by the previous reseller but not why it would have been. Has anyone encountered this issue as they would like to disable the old server and verify that all processes are running from the new server. Tonight I installed the Sage Exchange 2.0 on the new server but they do have this installed on each of the workstations running the invoices so not sure if this will make a difference. So any information or suggestions would be appreciated.

The client asked if they should contact the previous reseller which may be how we get this resolved. Thanks

That's a new one to me. Might there be a related program or process running? But are you saying you can't process cc's on the new server if the FOB is removed from the old server?

Yes that is correct. We unplugged the FOB from the old server then tried to update an invoice batch with credit card transactions and received the error ""Unable to reach Sage Payments"" Sage is running on a different server and Sage Exchange 2.0 is running on the local workstation updating the invoices. Not sure why this happening

Can you tell if there is a program on it? Have seen similar device that is additional security for banking transactions. Has Sage been uninstalled from this server, since the current installation is not?

Is that a possibility, to completely remove Sage from that server?
