Sage 100

I have a client asking if it is possible to encrypt Sage100 data (specifically GL/Payroll). This is a new one for me and a quick Google search did not return any solutions. Is this possible?

While note encryption, you can specify a different directory for Payroll data and then secure that for PR users only. See LM, Company Maintenance, Preferences tab.

Ok, thanks guys! I am not sure why they are trying to protect the data from (internal or external sources). But it sounds like they want it encrypted so if someone hacks the system, they have another layer of security. Sounds like that is not possible, right?
