I have a 3.71 client (that we met with last year and told them what was going to happen -happened today). MAS90 ODBC is throwing an error on one of their two TS Servers. (specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 126 pvxodb32.dll) The other server works so I have that as a work around. Crystal does not work from that one server. I tried copying the pvxodb32.dll file from the other server. I think the workstation needs to be re installed. It is currently installed on Server2012 . I don't remember installing this workstation but it would have been years ago. When I try to run 3.71 workstation setup by using autorun.exe I get a black dos screen with MAS90 CD (or similar). When I try to run 3.71 workstation setup by using setup.exe I get a white box with a red X and cannot proceed. Anyone have a work around other than I told you to finish this migration a year ago. Thoughts? Can I get around the blank box on the server 2012?

Howdy, Larry! Long shot, but right click on the executable for the workstation installation and change the emulation mode to Windows XP. That's ""usually"" worked for me on 3.71 in later Windows versions, but I haven't installed it on 2012, just 2008. 2012 is when Microsoft got serious and pretty much rewrote the server OS from the ground up. A lot of older software will simply not work on it any more. In some cases I've had to run them in VMs using older an older OS.
