I had someone else ask me this question last week. Can we now use eFax with Paperless in 4.4? Sage took this feature away -- requiring us to use Microsoft Fax -- when they added in Paperless in 4.3 Then I think at some point they were going to add it back but I don't have any customers using faxing with paperless so it's not on my radar screen. Here's the question that I just spotted on the Sage community: http://community.sagemas.com/t5/Technical-and-Installation/Paperless-Office-Fax-Support-in-4-4x/m-p/60984#M7867

If it's eFax and going to an email address then just set the email address as the eFax number. Let Paperless office route it via email. If you are worried about a cover sheet on the fax, you could setup a generic cover sheet as part of the Crystal form. Set it as a Subreport that only prints based on the ""@efax.com"" extension.

Good idea. Do you remember if Sage added back the eFax capability? I could swear they were talking about doing so - but I lose track with umpteen product updates to wade through.

They've been updating the site with additions to service packs and I don't see it here... http://www.sagemas.com/Products/Sage-ERP-MAS-90-and-200/Extended-Solutions I just looked at the 4.5 Roadmap that detailed what was included and I didn't see it there either. Should be the inclusion of LM-1033 from v4.3.

Nice link thanks - I was of the impression that Sage isn't selling these any longer - though I know at one point their policy was that they would sell them until they are incorporated. Also I have heard that Sage will no longer issue Extended Solution updates (for example if you need to install a SU to 4.3 or 4.2) except for under special exception and soon that will go away entirely at some unspecified time in the future. As with all policies YMMV (your mileage may vary)

I spotted that DSD has LM-1033 listed on their site -- which most likely means that Sage is not incorporating the enhancement. Price $1,060 with annual recurring maintenance of $265 -- appears ready for 4.4 PU2 though I'd double check with Sedal - sedall@dsdinc.com http://www.dsdinc.com/enh/by-module/library-master/es-lm-1033.html

We have a customer using LM-1033 with version 4.40. We were actually the first to test it for DSD.
