I guess I""ve been out of it for awhile. So now unless you get an act from congress, Sage won't even sell 100 Standard to 100 Advanced upgrades? So basically its black and white, perpetual Sage 100 has gone the way of the dodo bird.

I thought they would but it may depend on the day of the week. In most cases, the migration would at least initially be cheaper with Sage 100cloud because they can platform change from Standard to Advanced or Premium with no added fee. I believe Sage is going to keep boosting perpetual licensing cost until there is pricing parity and there's no $$ decision to be made about 100cloud because the price is pretty much equal.

I think it depends how close to quarter end it is. If it's close and the client really wants perpetually, magically exceptions will be made.

If the client is on-plan, they should allow perpetual upgrade or add-on sales. If client is off-plan, then it depends on the time off plan (and that piece seems to change often once it was 2 years or less, then 4 years or less, not sure where it stands at today). New clients are Cline only.

Agreed - i think it depends whom you talk to and what day of the week it is, as I often get different answers
