I find it interesting that Sage is hosting a conference in Vegas - for Simply Accounting - which is separate from the Sage Summit. After all, wasn't the idea of one conference to do away with these separately hosted events? Update: I noticed on the site that they're indicating this is the final standalone Simply Accounting event.... maybe this is something they were contractually obligated to hold. http://www.simplypartnership.com/

Thanks for the post, Wayne. I spoke with Celina Oliver yesterday. She verified our current certifications but I was a bit surprised when she said each certified consultant will be charged $650, even though they may have already paid their renewal fee. We may get a pro-rated fee supposedly...

That is interesting. They should have a separate Act! conference if they are having a separate Simply conference, right? Both those products target the entry level market and have a wide install base.

I am assuming that this Simply conference was one that they has pre-scheduled and probably could not get out of. Fragmenting product conferences seems counter to what they've said they were going to do. It's also unusual that this was a really long conference - I think nearly a week in Vegas. If anyone finds someone who went I'd be curious about attendance numbers.
