I don't think a separate meeting with Sage execs will happen at Summit. Here is my email thread with Paige last Thursday. I've received nothing further. I think the best we can do is to feed to Paige and Diane Haines (who did chime in this thread, asking where our events would be) the questions and issues we want Kelly & Co to address with partners. =================== From: Jerry Norman [mailto:jnorman@smartbp.com] Sent: Thursday, April 07, 2016 4:36 PM To: 'Erickson, Paige' <Paige.Erickson@sage.com> Cc: 'Haines, Diane' <Diane.Haines@sage.com> Subject: RE: Sage Management Meeting with 90 Minds at Summit? Paige, Yeah, we know it would be tough lots of commitments. We're happy to see that the Partner Day is a bit beefier than last year. Although I must admit that most of us see little relevance in the Global Partner session there. A couple of thoughts about some of what we're interested in. On the product side, a session similar to one in San Diego could be a way to get the word out early if you are going to introduce new modules or risk negative feedback from consultants who had to sit and learn about the new technology alongside their customers. Comments from and dialogue with Mr. Kelly could directly address concerns about how North America is going. Specifically, what are the plans for the legacy products? The WW Strategic focus is on products that seem to aim at Xero and X3, but not addressing those customers who are currently addressed by Sage 100 and 300. The enhancements in 100c and 300c appreciated and helped, but that story so far doesn't seem to be quite enough. Informal polling within 90 Minds about the appeal of such a session showed we'd likely pull 30-60 members in a 1-hour meeting. More if Mr. Kelly was there. I'm not going to ITA this time. However, feel free to call my cell anytime. Thank you for your consideration! Jerry We can talk about this but I don't want to get your hopes up to have a separate 90 minds meeting with Execs at Summit. We are planning a partner day the day before Summit so of course we will want you to come to that! Maybe what we can discuss are the topics you want to see discussed and incorporate them into the agenda somehow. Summit will be jam-packed with Sage events. I am traveling for the next 3 weeks. Will you be at ITA because I will and maybe we can meet then? Happy to hear the members liked our participation in 90 minds meeting! We enjoyed being there. Best, Paige From: Jerry Norman [mailto:jnorman@smartbp.com] Sent: Thursday, April 07, 2016 3:49 PM To: Erickson, Paige Subject: Sage Management Meeting with 90 Minds at Summit? Paige, I am chairing 90 Mind's committee to arrange our events at Summit. We have a significant interest from our members to meet as a group with Sage execs while there. The sessions with Sage management at MOTM were very well received by our members. We would like to build on that in July. -Sage could really make an impression here if we had a Q&A session with Mr. Kelly. -Short of that, an update and Q&A around product management and development from Scott Munro & Friends would be attractive. Could you and I chat about this sometime? Best Regards, Jerry Norman SmartBridge Partners O: 512.419.1444 x112 C: 512.653.7498

I am attending ITA next week, and will be speaking with Paige and others, specifically a couple of the UK execs.

Dj vu - didn't we go through this with Sage leading up to MOTM too?

Yes, but I think this is a little bit different. Rather than ""meet or not meet at all"", they tell themselves ""meet with 90 Minds partners AND meet with the other partners, or cover 90 Minds questions and concerns at the sessions that include them AND the other partners."" Assuming they take all questions offered up from the floor during Monday's sessions, theoretically they would be right in thinking this. Kelly and Scheipe could pull that off if they wanted to. Nice dream, but my drugs will wear off soon ... John, it might be that the best message for Paige to hear is, ""If you really want to emphasize how important your legacy product channel is, you will meet separately with us."" Even just hearing that from a 90 Minds thought leader automatically casts the thought for them, ""if they think that, and we don't do this, then 90 Minds loses further faith in our channel intentions?

It sounds like @JerryNorman has been chased by a water moccasin before.
