    I don't know if anyone has had to sit with a new prospect and go over the Sage naming conventions (100, 300, 500) but I did today. Talk about confusing. First, prospect assumes (not unreasonably) Sage 100 is entry level. Second, they asks - ""so we can seamlessly convert and upgrade to 300 or 500 as we grow"". I'm a believer that in these instances it may be better to bring up this issue rather than wait for the prospect to ask. If I were out for an easy sales commission I could have just misled the prospect into thinking these were all related products with a seamless transition as the company grew...

    Having that conversation right now with client using MAS for the past nine years. Urgh........

    Did you a number in the new name or something like ""premium"" to differentiate youself from the tax department ""standard
