I disagree with how Sage staggers their definition of supported versions. Depending upon which column you look at - support for the same Sage version end on different days. Example: In this just updated supported versions -- Sage 100 ERP 2014 which was released in February 2014 - No longer gets product updates November 2015 - Gets hotfixes (ie beg for the patch) through December 2016 - Tax tables through December 2016 What is so difficult about creating a product update (which includes ALL fixes as opposed to hotfixes which must be piecemealed)?

Unless my date math is off - with Sage 100 2015 Sage have reduced the period of time that they will issue product updates for older versions from 22 months to 11 months.

Supporting multiple versions would require a larger, more experienced Sage support staff. Not.

What I don't get (aside from everything else mentioned) is why tax tables for 2015 are only released until Dec 31, 2017, but the software is in support until Sept 2018. Shouldn't the tax tables last as long as the software? (or am I being naive again?)

@KerrieGuarino I think the real end of life is Dec 2017 and they give you until Sept 2018 to get on board.

@KerrieGuarino I have brought that up to Sage multiple times -- that essentially all these dates should synchronize. If they want to give leeway sell extended phone support like Microsoft does. I look at the date the product updates are discontinued and tell customers that this is the date by which they should be on the next version.
