I did a v4.4 to 2016.3 Advanced upgrade last week. Today I have one user with ""Load Report Failed"" when trying to print a cash receipts report. I'm not thinking that it's server rights since I had users last week printing and posting. Any thoughts? I didn't go through and convert every single report file but that is one thing I'm considering.

Terminal server? I believe I've seen copies of reports cached in the local Windows virtual store / Program Data, and the user may not have permission...

It's a virtual server but not a TS login

If Run As Admin works, that would confirm a permission issue of one sort or another...

As always I'm late to the party. We had this problem at a client after they added a new domain user - we thought it as a rights issue but could not find anything. Eventually uninstall and reinstall of workstation setup resolved our problem.

v4.4 to 2016.3 UG - this particular workstation had Crystal XI. I'm uninstalling and installing the version needed for 2016.3 and hoping that may help.

Did not work. Seems to be limited to this report as I can run other AR reports without issue. I'm not sure what hosed it. May pull a Sage case and listen to them tell me to restore from backup or somesuch

Did you search the workstation's C-drive for the report file?

It's definitely there. I copied my copy. Still getting the message however I'm in one of those contentious IT department situations where I would equally blame user rights somewhere , etc. Still looking.

That's where Run As Admin comes in. If that works, you can push back against IT to deal with their security restrictions for the user.
