General Consultant Discussion

I continue to run into end users who are confusing Sage 100 Contractor with Sage 100 (not any easier to make a distinction now that ERP has been dropped from the name). Good idea to insist that end users check their help / about menu to verify what product they use. It's just a tremendous waste of time to chase these especially since there seems as if there might be 1 or 2 Sage 100 Contractor consulting firms left (it's almost impossible to find a company to refer to ).

You mean Sage 100c-ontractor??? ;)

Anymore, it's 99% that the calls I get out of nowhere for Sage 100 are really for Contractor, because resellers for 100 are still easy to find, and resellers for Contractor are few and far between. The end-users are *super* excited to talk to me (first clue), and then I can actually hear their hearts break when I deliver the somber news.

Had a sales lead today. What a timesuck. I reality can really only hope for a cross-tier referral.
