I cannot for the life of me get the PDF converter installed on Windows 7 64bit workstation (MAS 90). I've uninstalled and reinstalled wksetup, ran the update, manually ran the pdfinstall and NOTHING! No device at all. Logged in as admin as well. Rebooted too. Thoughts?

What are the symptoms? Do you see the PDF show up in printers or no?

No other installs. @JimWoodhead do I need the patch with .18 installed?

Any old installs on the computer?

You installed the patch?

Do you mean no printer? You can manually add that printer, using the amyuni.inf as the driver.

did you install the pdfinstall.exe in home

No, there is no printer at all.

@BethBowers is that in the home directory as well?

Tried it and I get an error 1767 invalid driver or something similar in the log

no, it's .18

you need the patch on 4.3.0.18

Yes, it's in the Home folder

so you are on 4.30 correct .. You need the PDF patch

On v4.3, you need the big ol patch, 208 MB

LM-4046 is required for 4.30.18+

Good luck finding it on Atlas. You should be able to access BOSS however.

KB 524104 addresses this. Tried that yet?

You will also want to make sure that the CDINTF300.dll is showing in the C:\Windows\System32 folder and will want to change the printer port from LPT1 to a new local port.

Yay!!! Thanks so much for your quick responses everyone! And sorry @JimWoodhead I meant 4.3.18. I didn't notice I typed 4.4 until I reread this thread. Downloaded the patch, installed it on the server, ran wksetup on the server, reran wksetup on the workstation, changed the port and voila!!

I was thinking that. Crazy the power we with have with this. The thing with the win7 printers is everyone has to go through it once. and then you get it.
