I believe that 90 Minds has the capacity to grow quickly in 2012-2013 as partners wise up that collaboration is a much more productive activity than trying to convince Sage to change.
With that in mind we should probably formalize the group a little bit in terms of leadership as well as possibly committees - each led by a leader.
I can see a strong need for:
- Membership -- recruiting / evaluating
- Technical -- possibly keeping a KB of sorts (private)
- Collaborating -- Socialcast and other communication initiatives
- Training -- webinars for both internal (members) and external (non-members/customers)
If you think formalizing is a good idea -- I recommend that we have a recommendation when we gather in San Diego versus us all sitting around looking at each other and debating.
Most members are probably not going to have strong opinions one way or another so it's up to us to present a direction.
