I believe I jinxed myself last night when I commented to the client about the smoothness of the migration. Wrong thing to say..... It is just one little crappy thing after another now when system is under load. The latest is an error 65, program _winproc.sad line 0345. When I click on the printer icon to get more information, a PVX error is generated with an error 47. Situation arises when in SO entry when clicking anywhere on the panel (outside of a field). Since the panel has been customized, my next thought is to start over with a fresh one. Any other incites? Much appreciated.

Jeff - Are there custom buttons on the panel?

Sorry, this is the closest I find. You could try resetting the panel... http://infosource.sagesoftwareonline.com/sw_attach/kdb.asp?isresolutionconceptid=521870

Yes, a lot of buttons. That was my first thought that the buttons were outside the neutral zone. I have moved several buttons but there must be more. @ThereseLogeais - the article confirms my suspicians, just have to get out a finer tooth comb.

Let's see if we can speed up these responses a little more. One minute is a long time to wait! ;-)

Jeff - Try and enlarge the panel before you try and access anything on it and see if you still get the error.

At least you can take a break and go get an In and Out Burger.

I ran into that same issue when I upgraded one from 4.3 to 4.5. I ended up rebuilding the customized screen from scratch (S/O Entry).

Not the news I was hoping to hear.

Jeff, I did you try and run the utility ""Update Custom Panels to Current Level""?

And if you did I would do it again. Sometimes you need to do it a few times for it to work!

@JohnLeonard - Actually, twice. I am of the opinion that if you do something several times and get the same result, try something else. But if @DianeRuth recommends several more iterations, I will do that. Since Radio Beacon and ACOM have had their fingers in this pie also, I am dreading the rebuild choice.

Had the same issue during a 4.4 to 4.5 upgrade. Found that some elements converted incorrectly and were too close to window edge. Just had some clean up work.

I get that error all the time. Look for a bottom row button that's sitting in no man's land between DMAIN and PHEADER. In other words, on your DMAIN panel you have all these buttons (Accept, Cancel, Delete, OK, Printer, Help, Print Order, etc). One or more of them is not aligned with the rest. Look at this screenshot. You'll see that BT_HELP is in no man's land I get the same error as you. If I put it back next to the Printer button all is well.

Excellent point Alnoor. I've moved five buttons like that but apparently one or more are still hiding on me.

Check the Custom Office - Customizer Detail report for SO Entry, it might tip you off to the out-of-bounds panel object based on the coordinates of the UDF's - or any other customization entries.

well, knock wood. Some type of Voodoo happened and the bad boy panel is no more. Thanks for all the rapid fire suggestions. Much appreciated.

Something to do with the narrow panel. Wide one works without issue.

Having this happen on a 4.05 install. Are these buttons considered to be in no man's land?

Wasn't sure if you could reset panels in 4.05 but it had Form Settings -> Reset Form -> All panels/all grids or something similar. All is well!
