I am working with a current customer that has a need for a ""simple online purchase order system"" for their multiple locations. The problem they are trying to solve is that each location will order ""oddball"" items that the accounting department has no visibility of until the invoice arrives. Integration with the ERP system is not a requirement at this time. I am familiar with eRequester, but are there any other simple online purchasing systems (cloud-based, SaaS) that anyone in 90Minds has experience with? At this point, I am guessing we are in need of the following: Purchase Request - routes to the Approver - Approved Request becomes a Purchase Order - Purchaser receives the items - routes to Accounting - Accounting receives the invoice and matches to Receipt. From that point, Accounting manually enters the invoice into the ERP system. I have no information on budget at this point, so I am interested in finding out about free to el cheapo to somewhat expensive. Thanks everyone!

I think DocLink has something in this category. But then again, they are asking for ""simple"" (otherwise known as inexpensive). What about jury rigging something in CRM?

You might want to look at Paramount Workplace. Not on the low end of prices but ""while they are looking..."" right? They have visibility to budgets at requisition time which is missing from most products.

The three options that popped into my mind are all covered; eRequester, Paramount, and DocLink. None fall into the ""Free or El-Cheepo"" category though.

WADR, I love when someone uses the word simple twice. Because it rarely is and they usually mean cheap, no cost, low cost. Same when they use ""we are a small business

Don't know much about it but have also heard of a tool called Spend Map. (No personal experience.) They have a free version but be wary of 'bait and switch' or a super thin solution that gets you half way to your target. https://www.spendmap.com/Purchase-Order-Software-Free-Download/

Yes, I found SpendMap and Procurify with my friend Google. With today's world of Free-mium apps, I would expect SpendMap's free version to be very thin.

if the remote users have access to sage - setup a PO company that those users can do whatever they need to create POs. They do not have to receive or anything - just a simple repository of the PO's created,
