I am working on an upgrade from S100 v15 ADV, I am scrubbing the v15 directory to remove junk like .OLD files. I am seeing a few large files starting with ""X"" followed by a number then ending in .00 (example X070380.00) in the MAS_XXX\ARXXX. I have seen where Sage will make a segmented file ending in .001, .002 etc when a data file gets large. Does anyone know what these files I am seeing that start with an ""X"" and end in .00 are? Are they safe to remove? @AlnoorCassim

I'd try opening with DFDM to see if it is a providex data file...

Any enhancements? Or any chance those files are possibly virus-related?

6 enhancements but programmer already commented they are not related. I do see some sage data in them when I open in DFDM. Weird, I suspect these are some remnants of something, going to leave them and see what happens on migrate & conversion.

I believe these are temporary data files that did not get cleaned up. I would need to see what you saw in DFDM to give you a better answer but your approach sounds good. Most likely you can delete them after conversion.
