  • 1.  I am trying to install a MAS 200 4.4 PU 6 workstat

    I am trying to install a MAS 200 4.4 PU 6 workstation onto a Terminal Server and keep getting the error ""Feature Transfer Error, Feature: Custom Office; Error: Catastrophic Failure."" The Knowledgebase has been NO help on this one. Any suggestions?

    Running it as Admin under install mode?

    Version of the Windows OS, both server and workstation might be important as well.

    Both the MAS Server and the Terminal Server are Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. I've tried right clicking the program and choosing install as administrator as well as trying ""change user /install"" and none of this has worked.

    Try stopping the print spool service on the terminal server and running the install. This has worked several times for us though I am at a complete loss to explain why.....

    On the TS, be sure to always go through add / remove programs in Control panel. Never install by just running the executable or MSI. This became even more critical on Server 2008.
