I am trying to do a dropshipment for an item that is lot valuation. It wont let me invoice it if the lot number does not exist.....ok...what am I missing????

What version, and when does it stop you? Just tried in 2016 and was able to invoice.

Check the ""drop ship"" check box in invoice data entry lines.

If I check the Drop Ship box I can process the invoice but I never enter the lot number. I wont have lot traceability....

That's correct, Drop Ship does not expect you to ship the Inventory. You would not know what Lot the Vendor is sending.

Has this changed in any way...customer would like to do a dropship, but would need to keep lot traceability....
