I am thinking of taking down our member listing page at 90Minds.com -- http://community.90minds.com/find-a-member/by-state/ And instead replacing it with a listing of states where we have members and then an inquiry form so that someone on the web can request to be contacted. I feel as if our online page is basically scraped by vendors and anyone wanting to email members with advertising. This would also help stop someone online from picking out 3 or 4 members and trying to get bids, etc. Maintaining the list is quite a lot of work as we have to manually update changes and the geography is never quite 100% since some members have multiple offices, etc. Thoughts?

I agree with this and thought that I had suggested it a while back. It is another value add for sponsors to get this list. As things stand, people can get the info for free. There is limited value to individual members to have their name listed (imo).

But it wasn't a good idea until Wayne suggested it. It makes sense to me.
