That's a great question. Who the hell likes change? ;)
The Sage re-branding is going to kill Google searches - something that they address by saying that they are hiring some wizards to ensure the web site is fully optimized for product searching. The people facing the most pain are the people that have been the strongest marketers to date for Sage products - Wayne, BlytheCo, etc.
These folks have invested countless hours in creating the all-important content to drive eyeballs to Sage and their websites. It will slowly trickle away over time.
From the Sage perspective, the re-branding makes sense as it will cut the costs of individual product marketing and hopefully, over time, drive sales of additional products. From that perspective, it will require / force the products to work together better because if they don't, no one will buy the cross-sells or upsells.
