I am so over this. I thought it was only Harold's clients this happened to, but now it's Deb, too. I have a VI job for production entry from the file used to store Gross Requirements bills/qtys. It runs fine on my machine running 4.4.8. Put it on an end-user machine running... wait for it... 4.4.8, and it keeps crapping out and saying it has to have a line. WHY ISN'T IT CONSISTENT? Who is the best VI person at Sage?

In my opinion, that would be Scott Brady.

Well, good, because I had already sent off an email to him! Thanks for the confirmation.

Yes Scott Brady. There are some other good 2nd options like Steffen too.

Thiis creap hits us on occasion when we write an Access report. Works great on our machines, tanks at the clients.....

    And, Jeff, no solution?

For the Access macros not running as desired? Usually a lot of hair pulling, gnashing of teeth and swaring. It has been a while since this has happened. Sometimes it was not having the latest SP installed at the client or not having some Access features turned on at the client.

I believe I might have the answer to my issue. Client had batches turned on, I did not and didn't have a batch number in the import. Only reason I got this is because an AR Invoice Data Entry import was doing the same sort of thing... Hopefully my wee brain will remember this in the future!
