Sage 100

I am receiving an error message of ""Missing Parameter Values"" when printing custom reports that contain parameters in Sage 100 ERP Standard 2013. The reports can be previewed and then printed from preview, but am unable to print directly. Sage said that this is a known issue with Crystal Reports and the work around is to preview then print. Has anyone encountered this issue in version 2013 and are there any ideas how to resolve this issue with custom reports?

first thing to check is that Save Data is not checked on the Crystal Report file. I've had that bypass parameter selections when running from within MAS. This was an issue on previous versions, so might as well check it and cross it off the list

Yes, I did verify that was unchecked. I too have seen that issue in the past. Thanks.

I can't seem to find the post but I know this was discussed previously (@BarbaraGoldstein was this part of your 2013 adventures in entomology?) , and the preview first is the only workaround until Sage learns how the new Crystal SDK works.

Yes, this is one of a number of 2013-related cases I opened a case with Sage. At this time, @PhilMcIntosh is correct, the only workaround at this time is to preview first.

@BarbaraGoldstein: Any update on this issue from Sage? I have a client which is none too happy about this issue.

This is the latest response, on 4/4/2013 from the Community post: ""Hi, We have addressed the parameter issue with 2013, the change is currently in QA. It will be included in PU3 for 2013 and possibly a hot fix. Thanks John"" Possibly(!!??) a hot fix!

I would actually be very afraid of a hot fix on this issue. Bypassing even the limited QA of a product update on something as basic and system wide as the Crystal printing could make things much worse. Sage has already demonstrated that they changed Crystal versions without the developers understanding the new Crystal architecture.

How scary is this??? No Hot Fix...what do you suppose the Hot Fix will break?? and still nothing in the Sage KB............the saga continues. I thought Atlas was supposed to be ""the bees knees"". I'm not seeing it. They aren't even current on the 4.5 issues, much less 2013 version. SHEESH!!!!
