I am importing into 2013 AR_DeleteChangeCustomers (I have learned the hard way about the speed when I actually process which is why I am working on this early in the weekend). I tested on 4.5 (a couple months ago) and we have since upgraded the client to 5.0. In 5.0 if I import the change number it tells me the item already exists and does not import the value. It does import the record (leaving me with an incomplete customer number). Any insight? Any way to change the validation? The record does work if I manually enter.

As frequently happens I cheated... I renamed the AR_Customer file in my 4.5 (prior test that was still available). Put the AR_Customer from my current 5.0 install in place (for validation purposes). Imported into the AR_DeleteChangeCustomers file. Copied the AR_DeleteChangeCustomers file (after import) into my 5.0 install that now contains my 489 customers to renumber.

As I recall, they had this issue in inventory renumbering in v4.4. Amazing how bugs infect the other modules..... Sounds like an issue with the data dictionariy

My thoughts exactly. I just could not recall the table and steps and since the table is unchanged between 4.5 and 5.0, I just did what I did.
