Sage 100

I am curious in the mind set here to see if we are all on the same page - From a sales perspective - do you consider Sage 100 a cloud solution?

ALL software is cloud. As long as you can use remote desktop. LOL.

PC-Anywhere on my 56K modem in 1996 was cloud then!

Sage is just clouding (no pun intended) the issue by this marketing name change. We now will have to spend an extra five minutes explaining how cloud isn't really ""cloud"" in the sense most clients will think. It was hard enough to explain the 'C"" in 100c as meaning ""connected"". In my opinion this is a pretty big blunder.

We are not going to get Sage to change their mind. I wonder whether corporate knows it is not a cloud solution.

There maybe a language translation from English to French that they think Sage 100 is cloud. Kind of like ""Focus

Oh, not to worry. I am pretty sure at the end of the day Sage leadership will ""Focus"".
