I admit this looks smooth - BB 10 demo

1. How is the battery life. RIM is making a huge amount of noise about having multiple apps running at the same time. Unless they've discovered some magic there is going to be an issue with battery life. And if they've discovered magic and there's no battery or performance issue - that'd be cool. 2. Apps. There won't be many. 3. Users. There won't be many for any BB to BB type services such as BBM

Hmm, looks quiet cool. Reminiscent of where Palm would be if they continued development. The device looked a bit bland. If they charge a monthly fee for email that's free on other devices that will be a problem. Any idea if they ever got android apps running on it?

Ios is looking down right quaint these days

I think the Playbook runs Android but I'm not sure and if it does it's probably in some type of emulation (slower, less convenient)

http://www.cynamix.net/3964/rim-to-make-blackberry-10-phones-run-android-applications.html Sounds like it will 'sort of' run Android apps. Even if its great, I'm not sure it can survive. WebOS was clearly superior to the competition and didn't catch on due to lack of apps among other things
