I found the Sage KB article (first acknowledged 8 YEARS ago) that Hyperlinks or URLs are inactive for Paperless Office PDF files ... and the status is that engineering is currently reviewing the issue.  I think it has gone to the dead pool with Sage.  Has anyone been successful with the embedded hyperlinks in Crystal working using Paperless Office to email?  My client is on version 2020 so I don't have the option of testing on a newer version, but with the status of this article I don't feel hopeful that it is resolved.

@Alnoor Cassim @David Speck II @Kevin Moyes  any ideas??

Put a white font text field in the output with the URL as the text, and it should work as long as the full field text does "print".  (That is how REPAY click-to-pay links work, if you've ever set that up).
Object property links are what doesn't work... no answers on that.  Very dependent on the Amyuni driver.

I'm not sure about this - I know Repay relies on adding a hyperlink to forms in order to activate ClickToPay. So far as I know this is working for a v2021 that I upgraded about 6 months ago.

@Kevin Moyes I created a text field with the URL as the text with the white font, then overlayed that text field on top of other test where I wanted the link.  It didn't quite work because it caused the text underneath to look washed.   Did I do something wrong?

Right-click and Move - To Back.
The field has to be there, but can have other objects on top while still being functional.

They way the converter works is that if it sees a URL it will automatically make it a hyperlink. Any image set to be a hyperlink will not work. If in the text of the report you put a URL https://myurl.com, you do not have to do anything. If you want it to say click on this link and have link be a hyperlink then you would put in the background the URL. It will convert it and if you click on the hidden text it will go to the hyperlink. Note that if you URL is long and wraps, it will not see the wrapped part and you will not get all of your url. I typically make the hidden URL large enough so that clicking anywhere on my target area will trigger the hyperlink. since your text is small it doesn't have to be too big.
