We fared OK through the storm. The eye made landfall about 60 miles west of where I live. The worst of the winds is usually within 25 miles of the eye.
I didn't sleep well. The internet is out at the house. We didn't lose power or water. When I did sleep, I slept through the tornado warning but I haven't heard of any damage from that either.
There are a number of trees down in our area. Some homes are damaged.
The folks up in the area where it hit were hit really hard. They haven't had a major storm "ever" in that area. So they have a mess. I know Ann was watching the footage in Perry, FL, and worrying about me. But that really is where the worst of the damage was happening along with storm surge in coastal areas all along the west coast of Florida.
