Use an app on the terminal server.

What operating system is the server. You can possibly just use ctrl->PrtScr or Alt->PrtScr.

We tried those key combos - VMWare, is all I know with Unix, which I realize how utterly stupid I sound answering you like that...sorry for my ignorance...

But the VM that is running can be any OS. The client should be able to use any tool available in that OS. We run primarily Win 2008 r2 with Win 7 experience when running a desktop, so all the standard Windows commands and apps work.

@GaryFeldman here is the response to the question ""what's the underlying OS?"", from the client's IT Manager ""There is no underlying OS."" We (the user and I without IT) found that minimizing the screen allowed for a screen capture. Thank you for your help Gary.
