Yes, Scance has an In-Transit enhancement (originally by ACS). You enter a Sales Order from the originating whse then it creates a PO for the destination whse. When the SO invoice is entered, you can print your BOL's, etc. but when the sales journal is posted, it creates an IT transaction (to the in-transit whse) and updates it. One precaution - it does not distribute anything AFTER the transfer invoice, i.e., FIFO tiers are not relieved.
I just saw a nice one from ScanForce at MOTM last week. I believe they call it CRM - Container Receipt Management. Similar, however.

I thought someone had an enhancement for this. Maybe Ron Chompf @ Scanco???? I was also talking to @Dan Burleson last week and he mentioned he was working on some BOI scripting to do something like this. Maybe he will post if I remembered correctly?????
I was actually thinking about this on my walk to the PO. In memory serves me (iffy), @Therese Logeais has a client with a transfer enhancement.

You could "sell" it from the Connecticut warehouse and use the sales order as the bill of lading. Create a purchase order from the sales order and change the PO warehouse to the California warehouse. When the UPS truck arrives in California, receive the PO.
