I wanted to share a quick CRM best practice we use a lot.
Instead of letting old opportunities pile up forever, and/or nagging reps to close out their dead wood, we add automations that time them out after a certain threshold (often tied to quote submission). It keeps pipelines realistic without forcing sales reps to manually clean things up.
