Sage 100

How many of you are Biznet partners? Likes/dislikes? TIA.

We have been for 2 - 3 years and do all of the installs for new customers. The end users have been very satisfied and I find the support to be very responsive.

Not happy with Biznet at all. As a company they spend more time on getting agreements signed than actually doing work. The installation is a nightmare but you can pay them to do it. We had two clients using BizNet. One moved to Sage Intelligence and the other one works directly with Biznet support for assistance. For this second client, we have added more companies to Sage 100 and are using Sage Intelligence for them.

@RobertWhite do you use anything else besides SI now?

We have several BizInsight installations. I agree with Robert - the install is a real pain. I never had problems until they ""made it easier."" During a conference call last week we were told that they're going to be changing things again that will resolve the issues with installing SQL on a domain controller and make things. I guess we'll know soon. Supposedly it's going to be released early next year. It's easy to use and we were hoping not to end up with a big mix of SI and BizInsight installations but we've inherited some SI installations so that plan is shot. If Sage would have had their crap together with SI right away when we needed FRx replacements, we wouldn't be in this boat.

We use F9 for many customers. But we seem to be moving more customers to SQL so F9 really isn't an option so for those we use Sage Intelligence

I am a fan of SI as a financial writer (BizNet has always been a little problematic .. installations.. Out dated versions ) i like that there is a lot of self help for support for financial designer (youtube and SI website) (love the free reports library) Once it is working it seems stable. Now for big customers (lots of data) or ones with extensive FRX history or knowledge Renovofyi is the way to go.

We have moved to sage intelligence. We are even moving one client off of FRx to SI. It's hard to admit but it is what it is. Oce it got the reporting tree we have accepted it
