How many firms also work with / support Sage 300 (fka Accpac)?

I'm trying to determine if it makes sense to create a Sage 300 group. I can set it up and help administer it but I'm going to be completely useless on any support questions.

Sage 100 or 300?

Well, if you create one and @PhilMcIntosh and I are the only members, probably doesn't make much sense. The only benefit would be to filter out Phil's 300 posts in the Sage 100 group.

That's my point @ThereseLogeais . If there are more, it might make sense to give you guys a playground for those toys. If not, then you guys get to suffer.

I think we could build out a group of over 15 member firms within the first 12 months. I am a former Accpac reseller and know a lot of firms that might be interested.

I'd be willing to give it a shot. Our 300 guy isn't a member since I didn't feel there was a lot for him here but I would definitely add him if we can get something going.

We may add it in soon. I heard (from Sage) that Sage 300 and X3 are the strategic products, and we certainly wouldn't want to disappoint Sage. Thank you sir, may I have another product?

Glenn Linderman in my office (San Diego office) is our SAGE 300 expert ( He only does 300 .... about 13 years worth) . He isn't on the 90Minds socialcast, but if there is interest for a 300 expert, I can talk to him about.

Remember when Sage said MAS500 was strategic and BusinessWorks was going to be eliminated any day now. I think that was about 10 years ago.

Since it seems that the 300 ""Development"" team is driving the boat on the future direction of the 100 product line, it makes sense to look at 300. X3 is the blessed holy child right now of course.

Laurie loves 300 and it is the fair haired child, oh wait, Laurie is gone... We have been looking for a good partner who is interested in helping us build a 300 hosting practice. We have almost taken on two small 300 VARs in the past, but it is hard to find the right practice leader who is like minded with us. That said, we are still looking!
