  • 1.  How license changes ought to work

    Got an email about an hour ago from a customer on a non-Sage product saying they needed another user license. Logged into the partner portal, selected the customer, changed "Number of users" from 22 to 23, clicked submit.  Got a page with the prorated charge, clicked Approve.  By the time I logged into the customer's system to check on it, the license count had increased.

    And you should be able to bill from the reseller to the customer, whatever their renewal is. Which would make it far easier to bundle in annual services to the subscription for one price per month/year.

    @Phil McIntosh - Not sure what you point is.  When I have submitted a license increase request via the smartsheet process, I was able to get it done in less than 10 Sage business days (it was rush expedited).  Then two months later, Sage sends ME a email request to contact the customer to inform them that customer's CC card had been declined and could I please get them to call Sage with an active number.  I thought THAT was super-fast........
