  • 1.  How is the primary contact in Sage 100 suppose to

    How is the primary contact in Sage 100 suppose to update Sage CRM? I have a case where a company didn't have a primary contact and now one has been added in Sage 100. It shows the contact in the People tab of Sage CRM but the summary tab does not show any contact. I tried to go to the people tab and change the person that was added to be primary but it is grayed out.

    This is by design. I kid you not. A completely dumb design but still ... by design. Complain to Sage Tech Support please so they have it recorded.

    So you are saying that I can not have a primary contact if I didn't have one to start with? I saw a write up on KB about changing it and they say to go into mas and change the primary then go into CRM and click on People then change then save and it will update. But there is no change on people tab only once you go into a person and if you do that it doesn't change anything. I felt like I was just missing something. WAD I think was what they call it when it was a big gap in logic for the integration.

    Oh, the old WAD defense.... Too bad they don't understand that it should be works as DESIRED, not designed!

    BUG = the program has a defect WAD = the programmer has a defect
