  • 1.  How do you modify the roles assigned to VI jobs added to Jobs Menu?

    Sage 100 Standard 2018.2

    I'm not seeing how to modify the roles attached to a VI job which has been added to the VI Jobs Menu.

    I see how to add the job initially - including with security - however, I don't see a place to review the security and make changes once added.​

    I'm sure this is something that I'm overlooking which is really simple.

    The jobs added to the menu are added to the Tasks -> Visual Integrator -> Miscellanous Task.  To modify security to any role.

    Ok - I see the VI proper name for the job but not the name I've assigned to the job which is hanging off the Jobs Menu.

    For example, I have a job - GL_Import.
    When I added it to the Jobs Menu I added it as "Import to General Ledger"

    I do NOT see "Import to General Ledger" under Role Maintenance - VI - Miscellaneous Tasks

    I only see the VI name " GL_Import"

    I guess I have to add/remove access to the VI name and not expect to see the full menu name

    Correct.  Only Jobs added to the menu appear this way.
