Sage 100

How do you activate Sage 100C? Its my understanding from speaking to our Sage A.M. that all versions (Std., Adv., Premium) in version 2016 have the option to have Sage 100C turned on. The Getting Started Guide for 2016 says on page 5 that can be selected from the User Settings, however the desktop selection is grayed out on mine and will not allow a selection to the new ""Standard"" desktop for Sage 100C. This smacks of a licence issue but since Sage already told me it was included all version I figured I'd ask the group.

My understanding is that It is tied to the registration. The registration (activation) will determine if you have access to Sage 100c instead of Sage 100. Perhaps you need new registration information?

It is based on the new Product Key that was sent in an e-mail and should now be on the Partner Portal for your products. No other registration entries changed from v2015.

once you have the correct key entered, THEN you can choose to turn the new user interface on or off for each user.

Correct - I have been able to change between Standard and Classic.
