How are you all feeling about the AP Automation by Beanworks?

That their sales staff is a little overwhelmed. Just had our first client sign up - we'll see!

Any new thoughts on this? @JohnHoyt announced things seemed to be a little slow so Sage is offering tier. Several weeks back, @BethBowers was hopeful. Client has been bugging me as Sage has been bugging her.

We've had one client actually sign up and start the process. They've had their first introductory lesson, which I sat in on. It really is a pretty smooth process once you get everything setup.

Does the client actually save money or is it just a cost reallocation and the client reduces head count?

Neither in their case. It's to make approval process easier.

Thanks @Larry Bradford for asking this question. I have one client on it. They bought and implemented it without us even knowing. They said it was a piece-of-cake. This was a restaurant with AP approvals and owners wanted to sign checks from their phones while on the road. To piggy-back on this, has anyone seen Beanworks solve the 3-way match (PO for inventory items, packing list, invoice) as well as a receipt of invoice entry? I have seen this on DocLink so that is my baseline comparison.

How does the Sage partner commission program work? Do we get a one-time or first-year payment, or is it ongoing?

Has anyone seen or have a bulleted list of exactly what this does? Both Sage and Beanworks seem averse to specifically doing this. All I want is to send something concise to customers.

I think the bulleted list got shot down in committee.

I found a 5-page ""brochure"" on MySageSell I downloaded. It does not have a bulleted list of exactly what it does, which is the kind of marketing Sage now does. Let's just tell them how wonderful it is and now they will save money.

@AndrewHagenbach have you earned commission on the sale? We have a call set up with them next week for further discussion, I emailed for specifics on what the partner revenue share is and was sent 5 documents and a bunch of references to Sage Sell. I do not see any mention of what partners earn.

@MelissaSecody sorry for the delayed response here. I was buried the past week. Please call me if you need clarification 805-285-2640.

Thanks Andrew. I did find the order form in Sage Sell, which shows that we get a flat 25% commission. $3000 setup cost is waived for Sage 50, 100, 300, 500 -- Must be on Cline for 100 and 300. Beanworks does all the install, setup, training at no cost. Sweet Spot is customers who have 3 or more of these categories: Multi-Entity, Little to No Automation, Accounting Teams with 2 or more Approvals, Complex Workflows, 500+ invoices per month.

Anyone have any clients that have implemented Beanworks? Just wondering how the implementation process went and if the client is happy with the product. TIA.

Have one client fully implemented and happy. Another client is in the implementation phase right now - haven't heard anything negative.

I was planning on sitting in on a demo again. Is it capable of three way match yet? Partially received PO's? And Multi-currency is one we were waiting for. I think I did see it can do GL coding.

Have our first client purchase of Beanworks. Have your clients been happy with their implementation services and any gotchas that I need to be aware of? TIA

Had a client who had an issue with sync-ing the files the first time (I haven't heard yet what the issue ended up being). They are going live Friday.
