How are others handling this situation? Client wants to have PO forms with all items for a vendor on them (I'm thinking Repeating Orders with 0 qty) and just mark those items they want to order and create orders from that. I tested and if you use Repeating Orders it still brings over 0 qty lines AND then you'd have to go back and zero them out before the next order. Anyone done any BOI stuff like this? Best case scenario - PO is created from items with non-zero qty on Repeating Order only and qtys zeroed out on Repeating Order ""automatically"".

Beth, Are you creating a NEW PO for that order and copying from the repeating? It sounds like you are pulling up the REPEATING order, making changes to it and sending it on. Creating a new PO # and copying works for me. You just have to change the quantities on the lines your are ordering. Maybe even delete the zero lines to kep the clutter out of MAS. Or just modify the PO form to skip zero lines.

Here is another suggestion. Create the PO from the repeating order (all lines with 0 qtr ordered), enter quanities on the new PO and have a script delete all lines with zero quantity ordered. This is possible in advanced scripting.

Yes, I'm creating the new PO from the Repeating Order. But we're talking about a potential for a butt-load of 0 qty lines (4 pages of items, what if they only order 2 items this time?). I know I can modify the form, but I don't want to clutter up the files with those 0 qty lines. AND then they have to go back and ""reset"" the Repeating Order for the next time around. This is a modular home manufacturer so I'm guessing we're eventually (I've only seen the first two vendor order forms) going to be talking about a hell of a lot of 0 qty lines.

Looks lik Myron can do this - I would love to see a video demo that we could post because this is a very understandable and powerful example of scripting.
