Sage 100

Hi there

I have a client on versions 2020 (6.20.0.1) for Sage 100c.  They also use Scanco warehouse.  they need to be TLS 1.20 compatible which is PU1.  Scanco will not advise if PU1 will be compatible because the client stopped paying for Scanco M & S as they dont see value since they will move on from Sage 100c probably next year.

1. Does anyone know if there is a hotfix for 2020 that we can install without being concerned with Scanco?
2. Does anyone know if installing PU1 will not affect Scanco?

@Douglas Luchansky does anything actually get "installed" for Scanco Warehouse?  Isn't the only point of communication between Mobility for Bar Code and the Scanco ConnectIT Service?  The only version of Mobility for Bar Code I see on the Scanco Download Page for v2020 is Product Update 5.  Can you upgrade your client to that version?  As far as I know, no Hot Fix for v2020 exists, PU1 or higher is required.

Had a similar discussion with Scanco regarding Property Management, but our customer is current with their M&S Plan.  Because they're sunsetting property Management, they wouldn't make it compatible with anything above v2022.3.  I was at least able to get a confirmation that the mod wasn't compatible with 2022.4+, but again, they were current with Scanco. 

The only thing I can think of is to install PU1 in a backup copy of the MAS90 folder and install the mod and see if you have any issues. 

Maybe @Alnoor Cassim or someone else can look at what is updated in PU1 and give a best guess at whether or not it may be problematic. Won't have access to the Scanco code to know for sure, though.
