    The information on Therese's thread regarding the HL summary is interesting to me. I am modestly surprised that people don't take advantage of this very convenient "newsletter." It is an effective way to stay abreast of a range of issues that can affect our jobs.

    I suspect that this lack of usage is caused largely by allergies to emails in overflowing inboxes. Inbox Management is a skill that I don't think many of our members have mastered. Of course, dealing professionally with customers requires this. 

    Do we think that making such a course available to our members would be valued?

    I'm not the least bit surprised. This is pretty typical. Plus to get all of the announcements you have to read at least two different digests, 90 Minds Community if it's all member related and General Consulting, if it's consulting member only related. Technically you'd need Acumatica and Sage 100 if the announcement is product specific.

    There is that, Robert. But Behavior Change requires that we accept "don't want to think" as a baseline attitude.

    It could help if we could see the last 5 announcements in the Discussion Posts page, where many default to. sort of like the icon FB uses for Notifications.

    I know it's a different app problem, but we should see about a similar feature in the mobile app.

    The digests are covered in the 90 Minds User Training Materials.  These materials were sent to every member during the transition from SocialCast to HL.  Digests were also covered during the Higher Logic session at 2019 MOTM.  They were updated in July of this year and include the mobile application informaiton too.  (There are separate usage instructions for our Affiliate members). 

    New members recieve the materials on enrollment along with a mentorship assignment and a copy of the memeber FAQ and Rules.  The mentorship program has greatly increased new member participation and has even provided some new members the confidence to answer HL usage questions and comments (Eric Lunceford comes to mind).  The mentorhsip program has been in effect for several years now and imho contributes to membership retention and participation.    

    We send materials, hold training sessions, I've found some members have trouble letting go of the past or learning new skills.
