  • 1.  Hightower Point of Sale Enhancement

    I have a client that we picked up as an orphan several years ago they have MAS90 version 3.51 with Hightower Point of Sale add-on. I know Hightower sold that off to SWK and SWK worked on binging the Point of Sale enhancement up to 4.x standards; but am I correct that POS (no pun intended) was just dropped and no longer exists?

    The client is  aware that they are living on borrowed time, and I would like to discuss upgrading with them, but I don't think that there is a good path for them in the Sage realm. 

    Has anyone else had this situation?

    That's what I seem to remember.  Our clients use Fusion POS.

    IIG has a point of sale that doesn't have the limitations of Hightower's version, and handles thermal register printers and cash drawers, as well as supporting various card processing networks and is native to Sage 100.  Contact Alec at IIG (818-956-3744 x1222).

    I thought SWK gave up the ghost and started telling people about Fusion.

    We have that exact situation, except they are stuck on v4.3 with POS.  We gave them the Fusion option, as well, but they still haven't bit. Fusion was running deals years back to get clients switched over, so you might be able to get one still if you push them.  Good luck!
