I have an update on the website performance issues after conferring with our engineering team.
It appears the slowness is mainly occurring on the All Discussion Posts page when the requested data is not cached. The home page feed tends to be faster since it displays the latest discussions.
A couple suggestions from our team:
(PS this won't happen):
- Consider hiding the All Discussion Posts page for now and directing users to utilize the home page feed instead to browse discussions. The home feed is generally more performant.
- We are planning to release an updated version of the latest discussions widget with improved speed. Once available, this can be used on the All Discussion Posts page as a faster alternative.
So stay tuned for the widget. They are aware there is an issue. Thanks!

@Anne Sawyer - IMHO, every page is slow. When I click on the refresh button, it is slow to refresh. When I click on the drop-down resources button at the top, it is slow to refresh. It has always been slow. I am just tired of the slowness and wondering what others' experiences are.
Even posting this reply, the time to post the upload was a long time. 5 plus seconds?
I timed the second edit. The time to save was 6.12 seconds. Let's call it six seconds.

Typically everything is pretty much slow but I mainly notice it when going to my main page (https://community.90minds.com/browse/allrecentposts) as well as when I drill into (pull up) a post. I use Chrome but pretty sure I've tried Edge also but same results, and clearing cache hasn't seemed to help.
And yes it'd be great if the Search was better. Not sure I understand why some platforms have such trouble with 'searching'. It seems like every other site or app that has some sort of search function, it works perfectly. For example, as you start typing, search results simply automatically appear regardless of where the search value falls (beg, mid, end, whatever). Yes, large companies like Bank of America have this, but I've also seen it frequently with rinky-dinks.
