**Higher Logic Member Profile Fields** Please use this thread for ideas & requirements for fields on the Member Profile for our new Platform Higher Logic: From today's meeting we have: Company Name ERP products the firm (not just member) represents Hosting or others services Are you an ISV (maybe conflicts with Affiliate program) Are you a Master Developer (maybe conflicts with Affiliate program) Region (geographic) Certifications (list and checkbox Yes Cert or Just Referral) Endorsements (similar to LinkedIn where you are endorsed by other members) If they are vendor member contact info for sales, payables, support Group affiliations (like Master VAR)

My concern is that self-reported abilities often significantly over-sell capabilities. I've had more than a few ""oh we do HR or CRM or BI"" and then you call them to learn that they did one and that was 5 years ago for a customer who left them and/or the staff is gone too. This is something I've seen repeatedly I don't think self-reported capabilities are helpful to me. I tend to ignore them and ask for a personal recommendation from another consultant. I suggest that only products for which a member has sold/supported over (5 - 10?) within the past 3 years be listed on their ""we support/resell"" capabilities. This will be almost impossible to police but at least it's a guideline. There are some products like X3 which people seem to come out of the woodwork to say they support -- but -- really? Suddenly another 1/2 dozen members are experienced X3 consultants? Maybe. Maybe they mean they have a referral agreement. When I'm looking in the group membership I typically am trying to find: - Current product authorizations (5 to 10 customers within 3 years) - Region/State - Company name - Individual email - Individual cell phone (when provided) - Whether the individual is open to direct subcontracting on an individual basis (not company) - Subject matter expert (ticking every box on a list is never helpful to me - i'm looking for the people who have clear expertise in one or two areas) I'm also not sure people will fill out a lengthy information sheet so suggest that a reasonable amount of the most important data be requested.

Company website Top 3 industry verticals of customer base Special Sauce (in 100 words or less) If you want to add a fun non-work item, could ask their favorite quote I like the idea of asking for only products they have sold & implemented in last 3-5 years is listed. Happy to provide the list of Acumatica certifications to use if needed. Vendor Members -- ERP product integrations number of customer installs by ERP product Average time of onboarding/implementation of the product

I like the industry verticals idea. For the Vendor Members it would be helpful to have some idea of a price range.
