Hi all, We are expanding our business to include OEM'ing and supporting a solution for Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity. www.disaster-recovery-services.net I think its something many members could offer to their clients. It's truly a great win/win/win scenario for all involved and means some substantial recurring revenue. At the same point, I'm sensitive to the whole discussion around people trying to 'sell' within the 90minds membership. I'd like to say that 90minds members (or at least those in the 'inner circle) can do this at no charge but... 1) Must get permission from 'the board' (us) in advance 2) Only open to full 90minds members and no 'selling' until after 12 months of being a member in good standing with meaningful contributions (as judged by 'the board') 3) Board reserves the right to minimize or stop any level of 'advertising' that they deem inappropriate (i.e. spammy) solely at their own discretion 4) A board member who wants to advertise (me in this case) must recuse themselves in any votes regarding their own vote for permission. Thoughts?

Any feedback or can I assume lack of a response means you're ok with this?

I've not been in the office for much of today - at a customer and just getting back. I'm generally fine with limiting this to active 90 Minds members as we're already in a way doing this with other members who have services that can be offered to existing members. It tends to self correct in the group if the sales pitch goes overboard. With respect to web ads - banners, etc - I only care that if they are offered that they go only to active members. I do not in any way want to see people join just to shortcut a way to advertise, etc.
