I was asked the details to my extreme response. Personally, I don't think it was extreme since it was the truth. As I recall, client was on v4.2. Wanted to try the link with Act. Spent about 3K on user licenses, about 5K on hardware including a separate web server, memory upgrades, etc. They had a lot of customers that needed to be linked. Link didn't work (very slow). Worked with Ronnie Aspie at Sage (I think there was one other tech that understood the link) to no avail. I ended up writing off about 40 hours of my time. Client eventually reassigned the web server to another task. Another black eye for helping push another POS (does NOT stand for point of sale) link by Sage. If it is any indication, support for the link was dropped in either v4.3 or v4.4. It is a dead product. Do NOT get involved....................
