Hi all! Just upgraded a customer from 2014 Std to 2018 Std. They have 4 companies. ONE of their companies' reports is printing with different fonts than any of the other companies' reports. It is happening on several reports, if not all of them. When I went to look at it in Crystal, the font was called ""Sage Reporting."" That's a new one for me! It's a horrible font too. The letters are pretty much touching each other making it very difficult to read. So, why did this happen in one company, and how do I get my good old Ariel and Microsoft Sans Serif back, preferably without having to manually change the font in every report and form for that company!? Thanks!

New fonts were required so that new fields could fit on the report. Like all things Sage, you will get used to it. Chances are the other companies had modified versions of these reports that were not overwritten.

If the reports are being pulled from the main MAS90\Reports folder they should all be the same. Were there custom versions of these standard reports showing in a Reports folder at the company level? Is it just one user for those reports or all users for those same reports for that one company? They utilize a special font in Fixed Asset reports to condense the type to squeeze in the data called ""Best Reporting 70"". Same concept.

It's only one out of the four companies that seem to be affected, and they are standard and custom report settings. I've even tried creating new report settings and copying a ""working"" file into the custom folder with no luck. I'm really scratching my head on this one!

I wonder if you have some RPT's cached somewhere. There have been posts on the subject

    I'll search for that, Jeff.

Had the same problem yesterday. We copied the font from a workstation where the printing was working correctly (mine) and copied it to the client's workstation. Seems to have helped.

I don't think I can apply that to my situation, Merilyn, since every workstation and user is experiencing the same thing.

Check in Program Data / Cache / Sage for that cache location. I've seen that. One company specific setting is ""Use workstation default printer for STANDARD Report setting. I don't see a reason it would affect fonts but its a thought.
