Here's what I'm using for boilerplate for customers with questions about payroll. Typically I'd use this if I was out mobile and did not have all the links and info handy. Note that I've used a couple direct links (such as the TTU download) which do not appear to require login so probably best not to publicly re-post. So long as the customer is entitled to the download I don't see the harm (especially since very few of my customers have much interest in logging into the portal). Sage issued two program patches of interest to payroll users: 1. TTU or Tax Table Update - This is the latest payroll tax changes effective 1/1/2014. 2. IRD or Interim Release Download - This contains program fixes and changes for electronic filing. In general all payroll users should load both of these updates. If you have custom modifications to your system please check with the program developer BEFORE loading the updates. TAX TABLE UPDATE FOR 2014: The Sage 100 ERP tax table update will load for users on Sage 100 ERP version 4.x and higher of Sage 100 ERP. You must be active on Sage maintenance in order to be entitled to the download. Only update your tax tables after printing W2s and your last payroll for 2013. If you are not ready to print W2 forms copy the entire live Sage 100 ERP company(s) to a backup company so that you can print the W2s at a later date from the backup company. If this is your first time closing the payroll year you may want to ask for assistance from our office. The payroll year must first be closed before advancing to a new year. However since in most cases you may not be ready to print W2 forms immediately you should always create a backup company within Sage 100 ERP which holds your complete company data BEFORE closing payroll for the year. INTERIM RELEASE DOWNLOAD (aka IRD): The Sage 100 ERP IRD will NOT load unless you are on a supported version of Sage 100 ERP -- version 4.4.x or higher. The IRD is program fixes and changes required for the Electronic Filing module. See the link below for more detailed information of exactly what the IRD includes. We recommend all payroll user install the IRD. (view Sage supported versions here -> http://goo.gl/qh3POf ) Q: How do I login to the Sage portal to download the year end tax tables or IRD? I can't remember/lost my login or password? A: Sage maintains login access to their portal. Unfortunately we do not have access to reset the passwords for you. Please refer to Sage's Portal Access FAQ which is available online here: https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com/irj/go/km/docs/sageKM/Assets/EN/Customer.html Q: Where can I download the Sage 100 ERP tax table update for 2014 Q1? A: Users on Sage maintenance may download the tax table update from http://cdn.dlm.na.sage.com/sage100erp/5316/sage100erptaxtableupdate2014q1.exe IMPORTANT: Sage issues updates to their tax tables from time to time. Please be sure to check back to see if the tax table may have been updated for late breaking state or federal tax information. You may view a ""What's new in the table update"" by downloading this PDF: http://goo.gl/c2b31h Q: Where can I download the Interim Release Download (aka IRD) and do I need to do so? A: All payroll users should download and apply the IRD as it contains important changes to electronic reporting as well as program fixes. Sage 100 ERP users on version 4.4+ (will not install to lower version) may download the IRD from http://cdn.dlm.na.sage.com/sage100erp/5315/sage100erpird2013.exe You may review a ""How to install the IRD"" PDF which also includes a section on ""What does the IRD change in the payroll module"" from the link below: https://www.dropbox.com/s/c03qhf4ow2hl9tt/HowtoInstallthe2013YearEndIRD.pdf Q: What payroll tax changes have occurred for the Federal Government in 2014? You may download the 2014 Federal Publication 15 (aka Circular E) Employer Tax Guide which contains the latest employer tax information at: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p15.pdf Q: What payroll tax changes have occurred for the State of Connecticut in 2014?
