Here's my agenda for the board meeting on Thursday. I have new information on Association Resources -- namely that ITA is no longer using them after only a year. This makes me a little more cautious about committing to a lengthy contract. Robert can bring us up to speed on any conversations he has had with Marty. I'm not trying to change those conversations, simply provide options for moving forward.
I spoke to Joanne Benzer (outgoing ITA VP) who is retiring and may be interested in a short-term contract to assist with organizational issues. I think she would be less than AR and possibly more open to doing smaller projects whereas AR seems as if they have more of a minimum fee approach.
In any case, this is a draft of what I propose. Feel free to propose differently to prepare to modify the proposals.
You'll notice that the major change is that my proposal is the board rotates with 3-year terms, 2 existing members stay through July 2017 and 3 new people come on board.
July seems like a good time to end our year since it's not in the middle of a busy season and not in the middle of our MOTM.
